Workshop | Learning About Jyutping

CALHK held a first workshop at The Hangout on Lamma Island. Many thanks to Donald White for introducing the sounds of Jyutping and for leading this interesting session. Students of Chinese as an Additional Language learning Cantonese need to use a phonetic system to input vocabulary more effectively and Jyutping is the closest thing Hong Kong has to a 'standard' form of romanisation. So it's really important that teachers and students have some knowledge of how the system works.
