The 2018-19 Hong Kong budget earmarked HK$500 million for a steering committee under the chief secretary to strengthen support for ethnic minorities...Hong Kong Unison suggests part of the HK$500 million be used to develop a systematic Chinese curriculum and make such teaching materials widely available to non-Chinese-speaking (NCS) students.
